Ray White Cannington had their best month for sales EVER for the month of October 2013. With running only 3 selling agents, they were able to amass a huge 33 sales for the month, a truly incredible result.
The sale properties ranged between land subdivisions, pre-sale villas off the plan, development sites and residential housing.
It amounted to a huge $15.5million worth of property sold for the month, and is the largest ‘total dollar value’ worth of real estate sold in the 20 years Ray White Cannington has been running. It is also the highest amount of sales for one month for the office.
The majority of the sales were in the immediate area surrounding the Cannington based office, with only 3 of the sales coming outside the 6107 postcode. The majority of the sales came in Cannington & East Cannington, and also with a spread through Queens Park, Beckenham and singles to Kenwick, Maddington, Gosnells and Willetton.
The sales real estate market is really booming, with prices for land recording huge increases this year. We are selling 580sqm lots of land in the mid to high $300k price bracket, which is amazing.
Units and Villa’s are also popular, with 8 sales coming from an ‘off the plan’ type villa development.
Pricing is still an integral part in a successful marketing campaign. Of the 33 properties that sold over October, the days on market was only 28. Getting the price right at the start of the marketing campaign is so important to achieving a premium price in the first 2-4 weeks, and the properties sold over October were definitely adequately priced.
